Our last few shows kicked ass. We've been having a lot of fun. We shot a  live performance of our newest song "Heaven in the Dark" for ION Indie Magazine this week and we're getting together some extra special Halloween surprises for our upcoming show at the Vspot in Scranton PA on October 25. This week we are playing Halos and Harlots in Altoona PA on Saturday and we couldn't be more excited. It's a showcase featuring local and regional female musicians (https://www.facebook.com/halosandharlotsrock).

We're meeting up with ION Indie Magazine magazine tonight. They're going to shoot a video of a song in our practice space.

Afterward, we're rehearsing for our upcoming Sept. shows. We've also been working on a new original and extending the set with a few cool covers.

MEET OUR NEW DRUMMER...!

Yay! We found a drummer! We're very excited to announce that Rob Helme will rocking out on the drums with us! He'll be making his debut with us next week (he's quick) at our upcoming shows in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton and Philadelphia (see previous post for August's show schedule). 

In other news, we added The Obscuse to our show at The Factory in Wilkes-Barre PA next Thursday. AND! Our very own Candi Vee has been nominated for best female vocalist in the The Steamtown Music Awards. You can help her win by voting (as often as once daily)  at https://www.facebook.com/SteamtownMusicAwards !

So, if you haven't heard the news, we are looking for a new drummer. We're sad to see Tim go but we're still able to move forward. We've done a few acoustic sets and we will be working with a fill in for future shows until we find the right person (if you think you know that person, please email us at Sucker.band@yahoo.com).In the meantime, we're writing our new EP and playing these shows (we hope to see you out):

Opening for Joan Jett was amazing from beginning to end. The place was PACKED for our set and afterward we got to see Joan Jett kick ass! Thank you to everyone that shared this awesome night with us. Here's us and the crowd:

Lots has been going on in the past few weeks. First and foremost, a big thank you to everyone who helped us secure our spot on the Joan Jett show at the Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre PA! That's on Thursday April 17th. Rock 107 is giving tickets away for free at select locations, but they are also available at the door for $15. Click here for ticket locations.

We also finally found a new guitarist! And he killed it during his debut show with us at the M Room in Philly!

So, we played at the Factory Underground in Wilkes Barre, PA last week and it was amazing. The atmosphere is incredible. If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely check it out. I hear its been doing well and I hope it stays that way. NEPA needs more places like this. They were featured in an article today. Here's the link: Factory Underground. Give it a read to get a better idea of what this place is all about. We'll definitely be back there.
